Co-operation
The Macedonian
Academy of Sciences and Arts collaborates with a number of other
Academies: the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Polish
Academy of Sciences, the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic,
the Royal Society of London, the Croatian Academy of Sciences and
Arts, the Slovak Academy of Sciences, the Russian Academy of
Sciences, the Australian Academy of Social Sciences, the Austrian
Academy of Sciences, the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the
Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts, the British Academy, the
National Academy of Science of Belaruss, the National Academy of
Sciences of Ukraine, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the
Estonian Academy of Sciences, the Romanian Academy, the Chinese Academy
of Social Sciences, the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the Albanian
Academy of Sciences, the Flemish Academy of Sciences and Arts, the
Turkish Academy of Sciences, etc.
The agreements
on inter-academy scientific and scholarly collaboration which have
been made encompass co-operation on the level of joint research
projects, participation in scientific and scholarly conferences and
symposia and artistic events and presentations, study visits, and an
exchange of scholarly and scientific experience, publications and
other information.
The Macedonian
Academy of Sciences and Arts collaborates with the European Academy
of Sciences and Arts in Salzburg, is a full member of the
Association of European Academies (ALLEA), the Union Académique
Internationale, the Academy of the Mediterranean, International
Concil of Science Unions (ICSU), the Inter-Academy Panel on
International Issues (IAP), the Central and Eastern European Network
(CEEN).
