Meeting in Istanbul was held on September 3rd and 4th, 2005. This was the second meeting of the Management Committee of the COST B27 project, and the first Work Groups meeting.

The second MC meeting was held on September 4th.

The morning parallel sessions will be devoted to short presentations, one per country participating in the respective WG. The aim is to review the status of relevant research and to provide data for drafting WG annual working plans (AWPs). The basis should be the Technical Annex (TA), with some updating, since it was written more than a year ago and not all partners were equally involved.

After a short review of the current research of national team(s) in the field of ENOC, each presenter should elaborate the topics from the Objectives and Scientific program (TA, chapters B and C) they plan to cover, including the distribution of tasks and timetable. The presenters are asked to email a one-page outline of the AWP to the respective WG reporter, not later than 24 August.

In the afternoon plenary session, the WG reporters will summarize the morning sessions and a synergetic discussion should follow. The adopted drafts of AWPs are to be presented at the MC meeting next day.
