The RCGEB collaborates with numerous institutions from the Republic of Macedonia, and with numerous medical institutions from other republics of former Yugoslavia, such as: Institute "Rudjer Boskovic"-Zagreb, Clinical Center "Rebro" Zagreb (Croatia), Faculty of Medicine-Ljubljana (Slovenia), Faculty of Medicine-Novi Sad , Faculty of Medicine-Belgrade, Institute for Medical Research, Belgrade (FR Yugoslavia), etc.

The RCGEB is collaborating with numerous scientific institutions from abroad, such as: Faculty of Medicine, Augusta GA, University of Chapel Hill, NC, Stanford University, CA, The John Hopkins University, National Institute of Health, (USA), St. Mary's Hospital Medical School, London, Hammersmith Hospital Medical School, London, Royal Veterinary College, London, Institute of Molecular Medicine, Oxford, Institute of Agriculture, Sterling, (UK), International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, Trieste, (Italy), Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Faculties of Medicine,   Sofia and Faculty of medicine, Stara Zagora (Bulgaria), Faculty of Medicine-Malta (Malta), Faculty of Medicine-Kuwait City (Kuwait), Prince of Wales Hospital (Hong Kong), Faculty of Medicine-Tirana, (Albania), etc. The collaboration with these institutions encompasses joint research activities, specialization and training, invited lectures and exchange of literature.
