The following projects have been completed at the RCGEB in the last 20 years: 

 

   1."Study of specific abnormalities of the human hemoglobin in Yugoslavia" (1985-1987), funded by the former YU-USA Joint funds for science;

 

   2."Molecular characterization of thalassemias in Yugoslavia", (1988-1991), funded by the former YU-USA Joint funds for science;

 

   3."The application of GIBIT (genetic engineering and biotechnology) products and methods in prevention, diagnosis and therapy in human and veterinary medicine" (1988-1991), funded by the former Federal Secretariat for Development. The RCGEB acted both as a coordinator and a participant of this joint federal project, which also included 16 research teams from different institutions of former Yugoslavia;

   9."The application of recombinant DNA technology in forensic medicine" (1991-1994) funded by the Ministry of Science of the R. Macedonia.

 

  10."Study of the molecular basis of the diseases in the population of the R. Macedonia" (1995-1997), funded by the Ministry of Science of the R. Macedonia;
